Pull the covers on the steering colum. Look the wiring over real close to the multi function switch.

A blower motor going bad can pull to many amps for the switch.

electrical help....similar

Postby madabi81@aol.com » Wed Nov 11, 2009 5:59 am

ok guys i think that i am having a similar issue, was having issues with blower motor, I have a new one but have not put it in yet because the other one is working fine (when i direct wire it to battery) but each time i put i a new fuse and take the selector switch to any position besides off its blowing the fuse. should i put my new blower motor in? should i replace the whole heater control switch (that has the fan speed switch as well or what?? I am lost here and not it will not start? any ideas and suggestions welcome
