Has any one been into the 92 automatic computer? A circuit diagram would be helpful.

As far as I know, they are a sealed, solid-state style computer- they are fixed or pitched as a unit. But, if you have the background and equipment, go for it.

I bought a spare. I want to modify it for the fun of it.

Adjustable voltage regulator
Adjustable 5V and 8V power supplies
Adjustable sensor threshold levels
Better OD control
Those kind of things.
Once I get it "de-potted", I can start making a circuit diagram and identify each function. Once done, I can modify or make a whole new circuit. It would be nice to isolate each function as a stand alone rather than having to R&R the whole PCM to fix something simple.

I can also add some features while I'm at it like a throttle kicker for long idle times at low temperatures and sensor failure backups.
It gives me something to do.

My goal is to make it more user friendly and the truck less dependent on it as/when necessary.

If you crack that nut, I'd be looking over my shoulder if I were you. The big three will have a mob contract hit out on you!

I've had worse after me (don't ask). Beside, why should they care. They don't support "antiques" 8)
