LED Lighting Conversions

Postby doublel89 » Sat Dec 19, 2009 11:16 am

First off I'm not being payed to put this on here, just advice. Wanted to convert my truck to LED lights and went into the local NAPA and found they want 38 bucks for 2, 194 type LED lamps, did some reserach and found this outfit, their prices are quite a bit better I think.

LEDs have my interest life and power use wise, but I'll wait until the price comes down. I have some LED flash light bulb conversions. Just as bright, if not brighter than the incandescents.

I thought that less than $3 each on that site was more than reasonable!

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

After finding them every bulb on my rig, except for the tail lights b/c i am waiting on a flat bed, got changed over, the 4 LED red bulbs look alot better in the dash than that normal green color, i wish i could find a clear parking light housing that isn't as cloudy as the stock one on my 91 grille
