Coolest electrical problem I've had yet.

Does it have spark? And other questions...

When I touch my brakes, the fuel gauge goes to Empty and the reverse lights stop working.

I thought that was pretty awesome.

Why are you looking at the fuel gauge when you're backing up?

My reverse lights come on as long as I have a switch on my dash flipped and I press the horn button on the steering wheel. That way I can blind tailgaters or da fuzz at night. Or I can lock them on and use them as floods if I'm parked.

Yeah, that broken injection pump return spring really merited me messing with my fuel tank for 10 hours...

I'm told that's what it was anyways. How does an IP return spring all of a sudden get better after you prime the injectors? I don't know...

the coolest one i had was this weekend at work. i had a new 2010 386 pete. when you release the park brakes the turn signal, and mid turn, dash lights come on (not the clearance light). thats with the key on or off. you fip the clearance light only switch and no dash lights or clearance light. but you fip the clearance/head switch, the lights come on. but you didnt have turn signal light when you hit the brakes. and had power to the pig tail on the yellow and green (turn signals) wires at all times. it was messed up. im still scraching my head on this one. :hs:
