Brake/ABS Intermittent Lights

Postby FRadisi » Sat Mar 27, 2010 9:09 pm

On the way home tonight I noticed my brake and ABS lights were coming on while accelerating from a dead stop, then they would go off after I had been cruising at 45 for 10+ seconds. They did this twice so I played it safe and swapped out vehicles since my shop was on the way home. Could it just be the sensor going bad?

It's probably something in the ABS circuit going out- they are getting old by automotive standards, and they werent super robust to start. Does the pedal feel any different? If not, I'd keep driving it and not worry about it. If the pedal is soft or low, I'd look into it.
