Turn signal problem

Postby cumminsfreak86 » Mon Apr 12, 2010 7:47 pm

Hey everyone,

I've searched and havent found a problem like mine so any help would be greatly appreciated. You know how when you flip the turn signal lever and the dash indicator light arrows flicker as well as all the outside turn signal lights. Well, all those lights come on except none of the lights flicker. They just stay lit. I have a feeling that its a "flicker switch" or my turn signal switch. Any suggestions? Thank you

Might as well put a new flasher (flicker switch) in. I think they are about $4 at any auto parts store. If the lights come on, it's not the turn signal switch.

So I replaced the flasher relay switch ($12 at Advance AutoParts) and it fixed the problem. Gotta love these trucks. No telling how much they would charge to fix the same problem on one of those newer models. Thanks for your help and suggestions. :-D
