This may be a dumb question but can someone explain how to remove the headlight switch from under the dash?

The bezal that is across the gauge panel,ac and radio has to come off. There are a row of screws in the top of it and friction clips at the bottom of it. You also have to remove the shaft that the headlight knob is on. There is a push pin on top of the switch u hold in while u pull out the shaft.

dont forget about the screw by the radio too. run your fingers along the bottom of the horizontal piece above the radio and you'll find it.

Hey everyone,

Just an update... The new headlight switch fixed the problem. Thank goodness because that thing was such a pain to get to it wasn't even funny. It took about an hour to get to and a minute to change. Yeah I definetely unhooked the battery and that screw near the radio almost eluded me but I caught it right before I tried to pull the bezel off. Thanks for the help everyone.

Glade to help. Ask again. Only dumb questions are the ones that are not asked.
