The Brake lights are flickering...

Postby Begle1 » Mon Jun 18, 2007 12:59 pm

I haven't as much as bothered to troubleshoot my Parking Brake/ Antilock lights over the past month.

But I washed the truck, and they went off. Now they fade in and out and flicker at random.

Wouldn't that narrow down the possibilities?

And where is an all-cohesive list of things that can cause those damn lights? We need to compile one if there isn't one.

Check the body grounds. The one from the negative battery terminal to the raditor support has paint under it. Remove the paint.

The dash grounds a located behind the panel to the lower right of the steering wheel.

The antilock controller is located behind the glove box. Disconnect that POS.
