reverse lights

scence i did my 5 speed swap i havent been able to get my reverse lights working the switch on the transmission is working cheaked bulbs have no power to my connectors at back of truck i am lost

How did you wire it? On the auto the outside pins are the reverse lights. If you just hooked those to the switch on the standard then you must have a bad wire.

well they worked with the auto i have power going to switch and completing the circut when it is in reverse i just used to spade connectors for the wires

Run the wires into the cab to a toggle switch. Beats trying to crawl under there and adapt stuff to fit the manual reverse light switch.

Wire in an "auxillary" set of 100W offroad lights back there, and it is a good tailgater deterrent at the flip of a switch. Just make sure the tailgater isnt a cop, first.

well the power wire that my buddy hooked up is coming from the front of the engine it has power has power all the time could this be the o/d switch button.

The b-u light circuit has power all the time- the switch only completes the circuit when turned on, making both wires "hot".
