"Holes drilled in cab ceiling to combat roof rot"

Anybody have pictures of holes drilled in their cab ceiling to combat roof rot/ rust from the inside out above the windshield?

I always hear it discussed as a "thing to do" but have never seen the end product.

If done clean then I imagine it'd be a good project.

The problem with the front header is there are 3 layers that come together and it's very prone to holing moisture. I personally use a long flexible extension sprayer for my Fluid-Film cans and then remove the visors and feed the sprayer in each side and give it a good coating.

I think using Fluid Film is a good idea. I used this product on underside and frame of my truck.

I’m having to revisit my roof rust. I’m pondering on the same thing. Hole saw time doesn’t sound like much fun.
