Custom Cup Holder

I have been thinking of pulling the ash tray out of my truck and fabbing a custom cup holder in its place. anybody ever seen this done or have other Ideas for a perminant/hard mound cup holder?
1990 W350 4X4 NOW INTERCOOLED 5-speed. Boost/Pyro. Few light tweaks to the pump. Now a dually with an aluminum flatbed!!

a roll of duct tape on the trans tunnel did great for me.

I took one of those bench seat cup holders cut it a little and then bolted it to the tranny tunnel. Looks good and works good.
1990 Restored with a bit of aftermarket goodies might be for sale?

I wanted to stay away from putting anything on the trans tunnel. My wife puts her feet there when she is riding with me. A guy at work told me about these.

Those are made to slide into the weatherstriping for the window, and make a bit of a mess if you shut the door with a drink in it. :lol: Check this one out. It could work into your ashtrey delete idea.

Or check out a boat supply store. You could get one that hangs from anywhere on the dash.

Two rolls of duct tape one on top of the other after some summer heat in the cab will stick together and hold a tall boy all day long :?
