LOOKING FOR A NEW GRILL

Postby BREEZE1 » Mon Mar 14, 2011 1:17 pm

So I busted up the grill on my 92 Cummins the other day. I was wanting to ask if anybody knows where I can get a good deal on one? I found a complete assembly on eBay for $300. I also found a grill on eBay that had the inserts molded into it. But it didn't have a good picture of it. it was a lot cheaper, but it doesn't come with turn signal lamps or the headlight bezels. I've had no luck with the local junkyards.

I bit on that ebay $300 deal - grill, inserts, turn signals and headlight bezels. All fit well and looks great. Bummer loosing the black D-O-D-G-E, though.

Before I bought my truck the grill was replaced, hence it didn't have the letters and didn't look quite right, so i bought a busted up grill that had all of the letters on, cut them off, measured out the spaces in between and used some special tape to adhere them on, looks completely stock, the letters just aren't set into the grill like a stock one, no biggy.

Check your local body shops. I got one from Caliber Colision in Denton for $155 that had the Black Dodge letters. It's on my cuz's '85 CTD conversion, and looks original.
Lots of toys, scars, work trucks, and one big smile. Try smiling, I think you'll like it....
