Opinions on paint for the Duck

Postby dazedandconfused » Sat Apr 23, 2011 8:03 am

Well we got to talking last night after I put the nose back on the Duck about color. Dad thinks I should do something crazy but I like the sleeper look it has now. What do you all think? I'm thinking she will just get redone in the brown and tan.

Light grey to almost silver, dark tinted windows, polish the wheels.

I think a silver would look good but the brown would definitely keep people guessing. I'll throw out another one for you, the blue on the toyota tacomas and tundras. Really bright 8)

I'm really after the sleeper effect. Want to keep a low key and keep everyone guessing.

Yeah I'll probably end up with a muffler on it since it will more then likely dump before the rear axle. I'm sure she will be loud in the cab. I'm not use to this short of a truck. Roof of truck is 5'7" and I'm 6'3" tall.

Ya I can't relate to that. I'm 6" shorter than you. Only thing I feel traped in is a nissan pickup :yuck:
I've dumps on my S10. It sucks riding with the windows up. Needless to say that I never use the a/c.

Yeah when she is all done the only add on I want to work is the A/C. I'm not putting my power windows and all that in this one. Try to keep her simple and clean.

That's what I'm thinking. Cops are bad around here anymore.

Hey dazedandconfused,
Is it just me looking at your truck picture or is your cab running a bit side saddled?
Not picking on you but I gotta ask if you checked your cab mount frame brackets for the usual egging out that the cab mount bolts do? I think most of these Dodges have the cab held on by the rad support bolts and one cab mount still in place. I noticed my 91 is starting to shift out of body alignment....
