Well not electronically, more electrically. I removed the stepper motor from the turbo, mounted a gear reduced DC reverseable motor, and control the turbine with a switch on the dash. I dont really use it as most guys try to. I set it to a position that works for what I'm doing at the time, and forget about it. Towing, city driving, freeway driving, etc... The way I use it is more like selecting a fixed housing, except I dont need a wrench to do it
I cant imagine a better set up for my truck. I love this turbo. I can sit at a stop light and make it sound like a jet at idle. I can close it down on cold days and warm up the engine faster. I can tune the egts on heavy towing. I haven't found anything I don't like about it(aside from mounting it)
