Clipped a tree and now door is pushed back...Help

Postby audiojock » Sat Nov 26, 2011 9:49 pm

I hit a tree and wrecked the corner of my truck... Got most of it stripped down for repair, but just can't seem to get the door to shut properly. I have loosened the bottom hinge on the inside, but can't get access to the upper one in the cab.

The door needs to go down and for ward about 1/8" - 1/4".

Any help would be appreciated

That door is bent most likely. Where the hinges mount is very thin metal it will bend with little effort. If you have acess to a porta-power. Use the sissor setup and push the door forward.
