BTW I did get LED's for the taillights, they are bitchin cool 8)

I love how fast the brake lights can cycle on and off

Did they need the resistors?

I'm a woos, so I put them on :oops:

I may pull them out at some point to see if they work without, but my blinker flashes a bit faster with the led's in, so I bet they would screw it up more

Admittedly it's a little late now, but if you're having rust problems with those sockets why not just find a plastic or steel cup that fits over them and fill it with some grease .

Just a cut along it wide enough to fit the wires through, then slide it up to the back of the light and use a ziptie on the wires to hold it in place.


Also, just saw these over on CompD. Stainless: (n/m, the stainless ones aren't for STT. I'll leave that site up though, it's awesome and I've never seen it before.)

yeah, ill try to snap a pic, it was a PITA, id run it up throught the middle of the bed, then out to either side next time.
