4" Exhaust

Postby Okie Smokie » Mon Jan 02, 2012 10:51 am

I am changing to a S475 and definetely need to go to 4"if not larger. I currently have 3.5"exhaust from the turbo back. The way it's routed it runs between the t-case and frame above the cross member/skid plate. I'm afraid if I run 4" it will rub/vibrate against something at that point. So I was curious if you guys were routing it differently or wrapping it? Pic's of what you're doing would be great. Thanks in advance.

I hope I posted this in the right section. Help from the mod's if not.

Diamond eye has a kit that includes all the funny bends. It's a turbo back system, but you'll probably need a special flange for that s475. Redneckroot on here sells the kit, i'm pretty sure. It's under $300 if i remember correctly

Thank you, looks like it's still routed the same way.

The diamond eye 4 in fits just fine in the stock location, thats what I just put on my truck. You will need a new flange for your turbo. Hope this helps.

I have the 4" diamond eye exhaust installed on my truck now. The fit and quality is great.

Thanks all,

You can call Diamond Eye and talk with them about welding in the flange you need too. I talked with them when I did my HE351 swap but, ended up turning my own flange instead because I already had their exhaust system. And, yes their 4" system fits great around the transfer case. No issues.

Give Diamond Eye a call. The customer service there is superb and they can usually answer most of your questions.
