Pinstripe kits?

Postby dazedandconfused » Thu Feb 16, 2012 10:25 am

Well I'm trying to get stuff ready for when I redo the body on my Dodge this summer and I'm looking for a Pinstriping kit. Do any of you guys know a company that reproduces the factory stripe? The body is a 1983 D150.

Nobody have any ideas? I found this place I may call and see if they can make them.

Since you live in Kentucky, go to any respectable horse breeder with the fancy horse drawn carts and trailers. The best pin-stripe applicators up here do a ton of work for these people and do side jobs with vehicles.

Yeah they are painted on most of the ones around here. I got quoted $500-700 for the one pinstripper to paint them back on. That's just insane for the simple striping it has.

I wanna say the guy I worked for had his truck done with a pin-stripe applicator (no paint) for $300... But he also did the trailer and the horse wagon. All in all, those 3 things cost him $1200 and some beer.

3M makes most pin stripe tapes. Any body shop should be able to match it. I know we have about 60 different styles and colors at all times.
