Duelly Rear Fenders

Postby Eric_M » Fri May 04, 2012 2:29 pm

91 d350 is the patient.... er victim

So the rear fenders have seen better days, at this point I am thinking about just wraping some mud flaps in there and making them cover the tire to avoid tickets. But I would rather have a fender.

Has anyone ever tried a chevy or ford rear fender on these trucks? Parts seam to be a little hard to find in my area. Or know of a good place to find some localy? Puget sound area of Washington State.

You can buy new from here: http://www.arrowcraft.com/products.php#fenders

I've spoke to them before and seem to remember them being fairly cheap.

^^^this. When I called in 2006ish they were 400 for the pair. And you do need the wheelwell of the srw bed to make this work.

Bummer. I thought I had an outlet for when mine were done chipping away. Guess I should start trying to preserve them.

Dang, sounds like I might be using rubber mud flaps and making something that will work.

I'm sitting on about 5 decent sets.
Some could use new homes. :D
Hit someone up that's going to Michael Miller's (Iowa 1stgen meet) event and I'm fairly certain they could be moved cheap.

Any ideas on how much it would cost to ship them? Grey hound or something? I would be interested in a set if they dont cost too much to get here.

Eric,
I'd ship them Greyhound, if you'll figure the dimensions and quote the shipping.
I expect it'll be a tidy sum, though.

I will see what I can do! But you are probably right, I might just have to hold out for a more local set and just cobble something together for now.
