Otherwise, pay someone else to do it.

100% correct. When i did mine it was alot of time consuming work. I did all my body work and had a buddy spray it in his both. Way better that way.

A couple of years or so ago there were several threads on various automotive forums about painting a car or truck using the small disposable foam rollers and quite a bit of finish sanding. Did anybody here ever try that? LOTS of folks swore it really worked and they were quite happy with the results, like dozens of people.

My last 1st gen I used the roller technique. Used a DA with 220 grit paper, took off the shine of the previous paint, and rolled away. I thinned the first 2 coats, to help establish a base, and start getting the color to change, then thinned just enough to get it to "flow" better. Used the white foam rollers, had a long day into it, by the time I sanded, wiped it down, and rolled the paint, had 5 coats total, came out pretty good. Biggest problem I had was changing from Silver to Air Force "Strata Blue", took more coats than I thought to get a complete color change

Granted, it was a rusty plow truck, so what parts I hadn't replaced, I sprayed with a "Rusty Metal Primer" first to help seal up the rusty spots, then rolled away.
