Cowl hood

Postby 84dragtruck » Sat Dec 01, 2012 1:31 pm

Hey guys. Wondering if anyone has a d150 2wd. Regular cab short bed with a cowl hood? I ordered a one piece front clip for my 84 and would love to see what the cowl might look like. Thanks.

thanks but I'd like a better shot than just an open hood. My wont be a tilt front end. I ordered the race weight one that's a full walk off piece.

The little red cummins express truck i posted ran one until they smacked a wall now he runs metal fenders and the fiberglass hood. It was 40 pounds lighter then his current setup. I couldn't find any pics of it before he smacked the wall.

Ya that a fear I hope doesn't happen with this truck. We ordered an anti roll bar for the rear suspension that the size of the tubes on the sheet metal rear end to help make sure it leaves straight.

I believe he blew a freeze plug mid track pumping the coolant under the slicks causing him to smack the wall.

Finally got the one piece front clip today. Looks like very good work man ship. Even my body guy said there isn't much for waves to fix. But it'd be nice if the shipping company was nicer to it. 6 weeks to make and 1700.00 dollars later its cracked from a palate jack. Ill post pics later.

You don't have to accept broken good from the freight company, at least in the commercial world.
