Stacks vs. civilized exhaust don't sound alot different to me. That's RichieO's gray pick-up by the way.

15 +/- L vs. 5.9L is a huge difference  There's an '80-some KW at the farm with a Big Cam exhaling through nothing but 5" pipe. Beautiful sound ;)

Do it if you like it. I have a single 6 inch turn out on mine. It sounds freaking awesome. Its a little ungodly loud sometimes. But smoke looks awesome coming from it. Only time I get soot is rain. But I can take my finger and wipe off. Don't run it over the cab!! Run it level or a little below. I hate stack that stick up over the cab
Mine sits about an inch below level.

Cab level or shorter are louder. More tendency to make the cab resonate too.

A 8" stacked 5.9l compared to a 15l stacked 8"is like a Honda with a fatty can muffler. You can only go so big before it songs like crap.

Depends on the length of pipe, gearing and if you have an auto or manual and how you drive it, too. Changes where the resonance hits and how deep it will be. The 7" on the 92 were a bit deeper in tone than the 5" I had on the 97.
