How hardwould it be to find and put a Ex-Cab body on a Regular Cab truck?

You'd probably have to fab up some rear cab mounts. Don't plan on running a regular shortbed either. A regular short bed wouldn't fit either, due to frame length and wheelbase differences. A flatbed or shortened stepside would work nice.

You may have to modify the rear floor pan some as the frame rails on a reg cab go upwards right after the cab.

the best and simplest way to do it would be extend the frame inder the cab and extend the drive shaft this would be alot of work but you could keep the bed how it is along with just about everything else any wires running to the back and anything else running to the back would need extended or lenghtend

this would not be a simple task
