Tow Mirrors

Has anyone put 2nd gen tow mirrors on? I'm thinking about doing it but am not sure how to go about doing it.

There have been a few people, but it takes a good chunk of visibility off the wing window as that's where others have mounted them, they weld in a plate over part of the opening and mount the mirror there. Standard metal tow mirriors not adequate?
