I wise man once told me that if you take out the blower and loosen up the box and passenger side of the dash, the box can fairly easily come out by rotating the side that was previously in the engine bay with the blower attached to it down towards the floor board, it comes out pretty easily. Fortunately I haven't gotten a chance to see if he is right :lol:

He wasn't wrong.
In addition, I generally like to at least LOOSEN the steering column, helps the dash be able to take the flexing just a bit more.

DON'T GET ROUGH with it, like you do your wimmen! :lol:
You can still break the mounting tabs by the windshield, at the passenger's end, if you aren't a bit Ginger (nice gal, BTW, she's a redhead ;) ) with it.
