If you truly have never painted with a gun before, or in a long time, I vote against anything with metallic or pearl. Screwing up is one thing, but screwing up with expensive paint just adds insult to injury.

To be frank, I don't give a chit what color it is. It's not sitting in my driveway

When I drove that around people either hated it or loved it lol....I was on a 4lane and had a car tailgate me, pull up beside me then drop back then passed me and I noticed they were snapping pictures lol. I also had a chick hang out the window screaming I love your truck as she turned beside me at a 4way stop.....(I had my g\f (now wife) with me at the time lol)

Well that'd be a quaint color.

Ooh hey what if you did it in silver or something like that?

I can attest to that. All of my trucks are black, and I've never had a problem with that

I've heard that, but there's also that saying about how it's used or some such. Then again if all you have is a bottle cap then all they do is laugh I think. I'm not saying a regular cab short bed is the equivalent of a bottle cap but if you're a really big guy then maybe.
