paint opinion needed

Postby ellis93 » Sat Feb 22, 2014 5:19 pm

I'm getting really close to putting a coat of sexy on it and need some opinion about which flavor.Being a novice at painting or body work,I'm feeling as if I should go with the satin black to hid any imperfections in my body work or ugly runs, trash,or fish eye. Problem with the black is it's almost played out, most have it done, and while it looks good I don't really want to be like everyone else.
What keeps me leaning silver is the inside was sprayex in it and if I'm attempting to paint a vehicle, why spray it with a black that looked like it came from the paint section of Wally World.

What do y'all think

To me silver means it has metallic in it. I've seen some first time paint jobs with metallic that didn't turn out so good. The non-gloss nature of your black should make it easy to paint.

Andy's anti-Power Stroke this week. Get with the times. Kind of foolish to be hating on a truck that made such good money this winter.
