You have to pay attention to the trans tunnels. the 2wd autos in the 70s didn't have a wide hump, the majority of 80s up cabs had a wide hump in them. you can run the 72-93 front clip as long as you run all from the same year, because headlights\rad support and grille are different between some years.

Darn near ALL 2wd auto trucks had a small center tunnel. I used a 93 cab and it came off a D150 auto truck...small tunnel.

Auto 2wd = small tunnel
Auto 4wd = large tunnel
Manual 2wd = large tunnel
Manual 4wd = large tunnel
club cab = all large tunnel
crew cabs = all large tunnel

Not 100% sure, but 99% ;)

There may be a few odd balls out there but I wish Dodge had used just ONE tunnel in all of the cabs...would've made my cab swap a lot easier...

weird because I have at least 3 cabs that's mid 80s to 90s with the large tunnel all 2wd.

actually I know for a fact that my 85 crewcab had the large hump 2wd auto because we just cut the hole for the shifter.

I should rephrase my first statement. 2 cabs for sure are 90s and 1 I am un sure of.

Like I said on the crew cabs/club cabs, all large tunnels.

Dodge built so many weird combinations over the years...hard to keep track of the oddballs.

Ahh I missed that part. You can add 2wd auto cab and chassis large hump to the list also. I'll have to look at the other cab and see if it for sure has a large hump......maybe it doesn't..I've had so many trucks come and go I can't keep them all straight.
