Postby 89dudney » Wed Apr 30, 2014 6:45 am

What does it take to remove the cab? I have pretty well everything removed from the firewall. Im gonna try to pull the front clip this weekend. Im starting a frame up restoration and Im gonna try to clean and paint the frame. Also, whats removing the dash take?

Cab is just 4 bolts, unbolt steering column from rag joint and disconnect wiring/heater hoses on a standard. Dash the windshield needs to come out.

Also disconnect the brake lines at the master cylinder and the parking brake cable. Remove the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder from the bellhousing if it's still in there.

Don't NEED to pull the windshield to pull the dash, you can take a razor and make V shaped cuts around the bolts to access them. That's what I did.
