Pulling the front window

How hard is it exactly to pull an replace the window to get to the dash out ?

Tips or tricks have all the gauges and easy stuff out just wanna know wat this would take thanks

I'm not actually replaceing my dash mine is in excellent shape surprising but was sittin for years and mice got in the air vents and it's just nasty in side and want to clean it an pull the carpet and head liner and plan on rhino lining the floor and advice would help

You dont have to take the windshield out, there are 7 screws alongthe top of the dash under the windshield gasket.some guys said they could get the screws out by prying up on the gasket. Not me so I took my utility knive and cut out around the screw heads, and got the screws out that way,was still a pain.
85 crew cab 1st gen ve pump tweaked a lil. 4:10s auoto o/d gauges boost,pyro. 16cm exhaust housing .285/75/16 nitto terra grapplers,rebuilt a518 w/a decent torque converter.

You can try prying the gasket up and and get a socket on the screw, working by self,I couldnt pry the gasket and work the ratchet at the same time so I cut the gasket just enough to expose the screw head and got them out that way, of course now there are 7 little slots in the gasket that you can see along the edge of the dash.
