Glass run seals

Yesterday I tried to put new glass run seals in the 93 but I failed. The seals won't slide in very easy because the window is in the way. I already unbolted the front runner/vent window the get some more room but without luck. On my Patrol and BMW I replace them in half an hour!

I'm talking about the rubber seals where the window slides thru when going up and down.

Any advise? Lubricant?

Take a look through this thread....should explain everything you need to know. It's not a 5 minute job that's for sure. I have done 3 sets of doors....and I usually have to fight those darn glass run seals.

Remove the rubber down stop the window stops against. Then lower the glass down another 1/2". No need to unbolt anything to do belt lines.
