Part of the part number stamped into the side of the pump.

Ok I found out where the soggy power issue was....afc guide pin was stuck. Freed it up and it was a whole different truck way better/more powerful than it was before.....ever. My original pump must have been sucking butt for a long time. I'm going to actually back off the power screw

And the guide pin stuck again.....I have the throttle linkage pulled apart and the plug pulled to get at that pin. It's stiff as hell, that oring is some kind of hard in there. I'm letting it soak over night in some silicone spray.....I tried pb blaster first but it made things feel worse.

Anyone have a lube that worked for this little situation?

The pump still leaks fuel tho....still gonna pull it back off,but not till I gut a core pump to see what's inside.

Never had an issue, but clean it up real good and put a little heat on it. I haven't found anything on these pumps that a small hand impact driver or heat will loosen.

So you want him to heat the fuel pin and burn the o-ring off it? That will free it up all right!

Well the pin is staying stuck when it runs all the way in. I've managed to run the fuel pin down far enough for the truck no to smoke too bad while allowing the guide pin not to stick.....to bad.
180 miles later....pump is still leaking and the pin is still sticking. Can't wait to get the resealed pump on it and tuned.

Isn't there a way to drill that hole and put a longer pin in?

Don't know....I've seen a post about a longer on period. Seems to me you could just use the right diameter drill bit shank and do the same.

I Think Eric was talking about it. After that you can run a longer slide pin so you rule out the chance of overextending and causing a leak or some such

Take the top off and change the damn o-ring! Why do you want to change the pin when it's most likely a bad o-ring? Jeez, some days I think yo momma dropped yo on yo haid!
