Free Shipping for body panel parts

Postby oldestof11 » Thu Aug 06, 2015 4:03 pm

Tuesday night I ordered a new floorboard from fixmyrust.com They are offering, for a limited time, free shipping. Everywhere else wanted $30-$40 to ship it. So no matter the price, it was always around $70-$80 for a floorboard. After some searching, I found fixmyrust.com and jumped on it.

Should be here tomorrow! Shipped from VA to IL in 3 days.

Do you know who stamped that floor pan out? Be interested in hearing how well it fits, how close the bends are etc.
Having used sheet metal from both Keystone and Shermans, I wasn't impressed by the quality of either companies products, but at the time they were the only ones to offer for repair panels for our trucks

From what I read, the same company stamps for both Fixmyrust and LMC on the Chevy trucks. I would assume the same.

I will let you know when I get it tomorrow afternoon.

Got it! So it appears to be quality. The manufacturer is Key Parts Inc. Around 16ga thick, packaged ok. Not dents or warpage.

I used them when i was doing the body work on my truck.. I was not so lucky. the 1st rear fender patch panel that they sent was buckled almost in half from bad packaging. Took several emails, but they made it right and sent me a new one. It was much better.

Like I said. Packaged ok. It was a box with 2 bubble wrap sheets.

It appears to be 16 ga. I need to bring home a gauge tool to measure for sure.
