club cab windows?

Postby RumbleFish » Thu Jan 10, 2008 8:38 pm

How does one go about removing the club cab side windows? I haven't seen my FSM in I don't know how long, so thats not much of an option.
I want to tint my windows, and thought it would be much easier with the glass was laying on my kitchen table instead of contorting in the back of my truck. So what do I do?

'93 FSM-
1 Remove vent window latch screws from the quarter panel.
2 Remove hinge screws from the cab side inner panel.
3 Remove the vent window from cab.
4 If neccessary, remove the latch and hinge from the glass.

Installation is the reverse. Tighten the nuts to 24 inch lbs. Test for water leaks.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I totally understand the procedure to remove it, but why do I need to put it in reverse to install it?

Saved my poterior again, thanks Pete :pottytrain:
