the panels for the box. do they have a different name? maybe thats why i can't find them. all i could find was patch panels. trying to replace whole side. one guy told me "it's not a chevy, good luck" implying body parts are going to be hard to find.

I went thru that with mine. The only place I could find a panel was Keystone, a whole boxside. $675.
I found a donor truck (thanks philip! ;) ) for $160. I decided to go with the flatbed, so I sold the original box, donor box, and the donor doors for $150 and a set of bucket seats. I kept the cab, front fenders, and assorted other pieces. The kid I sold the boxes to used the side from the donor box and put it on my original box. It looked good.
Wish I had the time to do that! ;)

might be cheaper to get a rust free / damage free box than a full length box panel .

also a lot of the jobber / after market panels / fenders ect..., 90 % of them don't fit very well and can be a pain in the ass to install .
