wrecked

Postby hassy21 » Mon Nov 24, 2008 4:15 am

i just rolled my truck over in ditch in the fog in central california and plan on replacing the whole body and changing my interior into the new cab. I was wondering if the gas '90 cab would fit my tranny and everything. any info on body swapping would be much appreciated. i know its a lot of work but i gotta fix that truck.

it depends on what the cab is from. if it is from a 2wd automatic, then the trans tunnel will be smaller. if it is from a 2wd manual, or a 4wd truck, then it will fit.

if your truck is a stick, it wouldnt be a bad idea to make a removeable trans hump in the floor anyway.

Just cut out the hump and replace it with your hump. The rest of the floor boards and mounts should be the same. Sorry for your crunch, that sucks.
