Dually Parts

Postby dakota farmer » Tue Feb 03, 2009 9:06 pm

Hey Everyone,

I just did some trading for a new dodge dually box. It has great fenders, but the gaskets are disformed and need replaced due to the weather. I was wondering if you can buy the gaskets or how I can go about getting them fixed.

Thanks,
Nick

iirc the gaskets are no longer available. i have heard of people getting the gasket stuff for vw beetle fenders from jc whitney and using that. i saw a truck, i think it may have been bills crew cab, that didnt have the gasket in there and it just didnt look "right" if you know what i mean. of course, im sure the guy behind the wheel didnt help much...

Hey I appreciate the info. I kind of expected they quit making them. I will have to figure out a plan B. Thanks again.

it may not be. i shipped a pair of fenders to texas from indiana and it was only $11. the guy (i went to school with him) at the shipping place "misjudged" the weight on the low side, but it wasnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be. i was expecting over $50.
