Vynil flooring from Accumats

I am getting ready to order this for my '92 to replace the stock carpet and was wondering if I should also purchase the sound dampening insulation?
They have two choices Item#14523-92 is the heat shield foil with pad; 1 piece and item#14605-92 is the sound deadener EVA 1 piece.

I've been putting it off long enough, kinda scared of what may lay under the carpet but the carpet is pretty nasty and needs to be replaced hopefully there isn't much cancer.
