Long bed to short bed conversion???

Postby ford69557ci » Tue Nov 24, 2009 9:35 pm

Has anyone on here done this? I have a mint 91 w150 bed and want to put it on my 92w250 cc lb. Does the fuel tank have to be replaced? How much and where did you cut the frame in the front and the back?
92 w250, NV4500, D80, maxed pump, AFC gone, extended fuel screw, more to come.

Thanks I will send him a message. I need to get the cosmetics done on this truck so I can get back to my pump and fuel system testing.

A guy an hour or so from me did it to his '05 truck. (i know, but it's still cool) I haven't seen it yet. That had to be fun with the tube frame and the bends.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

16 inches before the axle and around 8 after the axle, i built my own fuel tank. the carrier bearing support wont let the shortbed tank work.
