Short Bed Conversion

Postby delinquent » Sun Mar 28, 2010 6:51 pm

Has anybody on here done a short bed conversion. I am really wanting to do one in the next few months and just looking for any information that might be out there. My main convern would be the fuel tank. It may have to go in the bed...Any body got any suggetions or insight.

You have the option of using the Ramcharger gas tank where the spare tire normally mounts. Some of the 6 foot beds have the relief in the inner wall for filler clearance.

You will need to relocate the filler door on the outside of the bed/fender area. This also requires the Ramcharger tank crossmembers and tank straps and filler tube.
