cab question

cab question

does any body know if a cab from a 1991 diesel 2wd auto will work without to many modifications on a 1989 diesel 4x4 auto? thanks

Yeah, only thing you need to change is the floor hump. 4X4 and/or standard trans have a large hump, 2wd auto has a small one. If the '91 is intercooled, you probably have to change the cab harness too.

Pete, I suspect the 89 has its own harness. The 89's had a cable speedo so it would be different there. The 90's and up had the crappo VSS.
