Looks good but I agree the rear needs to go down a bit.

Drop shackles in the back is what I was thinking.

I'm thinking parallel 4-link with air bags myself.

That is the best option. The drop shackles are the cheapest way is why I said that.

started filling some holes in. I got these plus the 3 on the cab on the passenger side as well. Also did the fender flare holes. The fender on the drivers side didn't have any holes in it, so all I need to do is the 3 on the cab on that side.

Obviously still need some work, but it gets the holes filled in at least.

While trying to weld them up, my tig was acting up, so I pulled the top cover off. Look at all that copper, sure don't make them like that anymore...

Thanks. Some day it will look good. I have some more subtle body mods I want to do, just need to get some parts.

Also, this doesn't have anything to do with body work, but I picked up a tool kit to keep in the truck since I got tired of clearing out my garage box every time I went on a trip with the bikes or jeeps. On the subject of body work, you can see one of the rust holes that this short bed has.

I could have gotten a bigger kit, but the best thing is it fits perfectly right where the jump seat was. I'll be removing the stickers from the box and might make a cover or something so it doesn't stick out to people with sticky fingers.

Image

The only problem with it there is it displaced some other stuff like my jumper cables and receiver hitch. But going back to subtle body mods, they will get a new home

Nice work! You're not too far from me when I go to Hollywood. You wouldn't happen to have a good clean straight steel wheel left would you? Just need a stock dodge steel that will hold my hub caps.

Afraid not. I sold the wheels/tires that were on it when I got my h2 wheels quite a while ago. A buddy of mine has a 1st gen as well, next time I run into him I'll see if he has anything.
