cheap bumper coating

Postby ellis93 » Tue Sep 21, 2010 10:18 am

Stuff was called plastikote. I bought it at lowes. Its good and thick too. It took about 2 hours for it to dry to rubber like feel and two days later it feels the same.

That's what I used inside and on the back of my cab. Kinda coarse looking stuff, but cut the noise some.

Ya its rough as a dry corn cobb. I kinda wanted it that way. Ride down south in about two weeks and u will find out why. Love buggs. Nasty little buggs that when they hit your paint and explode leave their gutts. That siht will eat ur paint up.

Dude, I love your front bumper. Make the grille guard a hair lower to match the headlights, or surround them a littl more evenly......
The coating looks good, and gives the bumper a rugged look. I like it.
