Why, worried she might like me? Then you could call me "dad" !

Maybe all those people watching you go by are the devils minions. They're going to take you to hell for putting a good cummins in that awful truck. ;)

Well I have a few things going on with it....nothing serious, not to me anyhow.

Oil pressure gauge is doing some wacked out stuff,it usually stays pegged out at 60lbs hot or cold off idle and about 40lbs idling hot. Yesterday I was running thru town and looked down for my random gauge check and seen that it was only running about 30lbs. Screwy thing is as I turned a curve it decided to pop back up to 60lbs
I figure it's the O'Reilly sender or weak crimp on a buttsplice
Next thing that bothers the crap out of me is the typical brake apply dart it has developed. That's a chevy thing, bad hoses that are or could be 30yrs old. Easy fix ;)
And the next bothersome thing would be that drive shaft.....looks like I'll need one made. My home built jobber does it's job just at 70mph it's doing the nom nom nom thing and needs to go

That but not least the OD needs to be fixed. The whole thing about being an "automatic" is it's doing its own thing :) I gotta get that snubber thinger

Screw all that and put it on switches for each one.

I think you could tune for weeks and still it wouldn't behave like you set it up to in every situation. I know I don't have the patience for that

Doesn't need to be for every situation, just for one......papaw mode. The existing switches will take care of the rest of the time, play time. All that's a far off distant dream, once the bugs are worked out of the truck.

I called Clutch and Power train in Mobile Al this morning and they told me a shaft was gonna cost from 200 to 350 depending on my yokes, tube combo. That's high to me :? And it's the only place that does it down here
