I gave $380 for a 4" shaft that is 61" long with 2 new Spicer weld-on yokes and 2 new Spicer 1410 U-joints.

How did you make the one you have now? Did you shorten a factory shaft?

Damn :? I sure don't want to pay it

Caleb I cut the rear yoke off the front dodge shaft and front yoke of the chevy shaft, slid it together and welded her up. Apparently not straight. Whatever snatching the shaft out this afternoon :?

Yeah I didn't either but now I only have a slight vibration at 80 due to a tire throwing a weight.

So I take it that the Chevy rearend yoke isn't 1410? I had a couple feet of tube still attached to each yoke where I welded mine together. That helped me get it straight.

Sometimes the money has to be spent Ellis. I might go to a one piece carbon fibre rear driveshaft on jaeger if it fixes my driveline vibration. I think the price on one of those is 1200-2000 dollars

Ellis, I keep looking at that side pic and can't decide what would be a good color for a stripe on it. I think of a nice color and then decide it won't look right. :?

Black of some darker shade of grey I think would be the only ones that'll look right

Not a bad price man....I think it cost my dad 150 to have the crew shaft balanced, new carrier bearing, and joints.

Na.....I'll drive like pawpaw right now. After the bugs are worked out, it's game on 8) Right now I'd just shame myself in it, it is strong feeling but I know it's slow. I think my ol dodge could take it

Well that shaft got 90% of the vibs. Feels like I have a funny tire or wheel now

Feels good to be running around in it again, even after 2 days of not having it,I actually missed it

I only hotrod mine when nobody is around, and if they're behind jaeger they probably couldn't see anything anyways. Seriously that thing needs a lot more air than what the he351ve delivers. The point is Ellis, don't be a sissy
