You don't look in the mirror often do you?

You'll have to try a lot harder than that to offend me. I've got a pretty thick skin, I have four older brothers. :D

I worked like a Hebrew slave all day and did not manage to get it in the truck.

I have had to make my throttle linkage from the p pump stuff, basically used the bell crank and braket and modified it to work with the ve pump using some little heim joints.
Also rigged up a bypass regulator and made up the fuel supply to work with the electric pump. I plan to set that at 12psi and then figure out how to use the boost reference the reg has to increase the pressure as I build boost.

All I like from installing it is the rockers installed and set, then do whatever I need to with the valve cover. I would like the whole mess buckled up before I shove it in the hole.

Before I put the body back together I plan to at least hear it run....since the pump is my first to build.

Hopefully this is the last time you have to do this.

I just can't seem to get this thing in the damn truck

I got the turbos switched over (that was a PITA with the nuts being galded on the hy) and bolted on the mounts. Then moved on to the trans cooler mounted and modified (used the 2001's,it's smaller). Moved on to the valve cover.....I cut the D O D G E off and tried stripping the paint with aircraft remover only to have the stuff turn to jelly on me. The paint must be some kind of powder coat or something. I've never had any enigne paint do quite like that. Whatever.....it pretty much finished off what time I had.

If this was me, it would already be running and doing laps around the block with no front clip. The only reason it's not in the truck is your OCD. :P

This is a mile from my house, I had to solder the radiator afterward because I left the core support loose and it got in the fan.

I'll admit....I have a little of that. If it's supposed to be a certain way that's how I want it. I won't be running around organizing other people's stuff

I killed the dodge lettering at lunch, and painted it up.

I think it'll look good under that silver hood ;)
