I worked there for 6 yrs and they were fine as long as you bought the new, not reman, until they switched brands in the early 2000s or so. Then they were garbage. Not sure about the ones now though. I was eating them up in 06 or 07. I had to get to work the next day so I didn't have time to wait for a rebuild kit or anything. At least they had a lifetime warranty so replacement was free. Using a wobble extension on the bastard bolt sure saved some cussing, but I didn't figure that out until starter #3 had to come off lol

make the tube long enough to throw it in a crossmember somewhere, its nice to have the oil vapors lube the frame

I don't wanna do that. When the other cab is ready I'm painting all the frame. I don't want to deal with more oil then I have too

Well got the starter on it and she is running again. It cranks so much faster so hopefully will start easier in the cold.

:) Yeah still a bit to cold to go bare foot just yet. Dad's giving me sthi about the cap and the hubcaps. He asked when im gonna get my old man hat. They call me Big Andy for a reason i guess.

Thats the goal with it. It will get a fresh coat of brown paint when the other cab is done. Ive still gotta get the front end finished.

Well the Duck is getting parked until i get the rest of the front end changed. I've ate 2 new 8 ply 15" tires since October. Im not buying another one.
