Glad it runs! 8)
Did you have the pump top off? May have to reindex the throttle lever to the shaft.

I had the top off for the reseal, forgot to replace the throttle shaft o-ring so I had to pull it again. I put it back to the index lines where it was when I first tore into it. It acts more like a miss and stumbling, starts blowing white smoke and such...tries to gain rpm's but won't....

And it's leaking fuel again :(

Sounds more like the timing is off. Where's it leaking?

It's dripping off the bottom of the big throttle bracket, so I think its coming from the big o ring around the head thingy where the dv's go onto...

Did you send your pump to revemup for rebuild? Unless you really f'd up the oring and install, it's probly one of the deliver valve holders or most likely an injection line. Brake cleaner or starting fluid is your friend when it comes to finding leaks.

I honestly don't know Bill. I might have torn that large O-ring on install. I am going to take a break from it today. I will probably remove the pump again tomorrow, go back through it and see what I did wrong...

Also, still no grids/WTS, WIF or anything else electrical working...

Times like these I think that I should have bought a spare pump or something....or I should just part it out and buy something else...

Well, I replaced the feed and return lines with new 3/8" fuel line when the body was off the frame. I did take the module out of the tank to install a working tank level sending unit, could I have messed something up there? I did eliminate the quick couplings at the top of the module, and put the hoses right on the plastic nubs, with hose clamps on them...maybe that's were it's sucking air? I also installed a new lift pump, and screen canister before it. Those connections are all clean and tight. My figuring is that if it's sucking air somewhere, it's probably back at the tank.... :?:

And I got the fuel leak at the pump dealt with....hopefully. When I re-sealed the pump, I did it on the work bench, and I think I didn't tighten the DV holders tight enough. I went ahead a snugged them up some more, two of them were loose enough that when I took the injection lines off, the holders spun with them...might have been where the leak was coming from. I ran the engine again, no leaks so far...

I did the same thing when I went through my pump................

Ok, I put that little plastic fitting back on the top of the tank module, seemed to make a tighter fit. It really didn't make much of a difference. It'll idle ok, seems to hunt up and down +/- 50 rpms. It seems to have a little bit snappier throttle, revs up a bit more now (half throttle) before it starts stumbling and blowing white smoke. I really don't know what else to check/change, besides changing the fuel filter (1000miles on it) or dropping the tank to check out the insides of the module... :?:

It's air..................

EVERY time I've had my truck do that, it was from air.

Hmmm...maybe I will do the old fuel in the jug feed trick, see if its in the tank. I will put a new filter on while I am at it...

My bet is it's somewhere in the pump.

Last time my truck did it, it was a very mildly ripped pressure regulator o ring. Truck would surge somethin' fierce.

I've eliminated the stupid 'quick release' fittings on trucks/senders etc before, replaced them with fuel hose the same way you did, never a problem. So I highly doubt you have an issue there. If it was that big of an air leak, it wouldn't start easily and would have a fuel leak there. Did you try some gay timing mod/shim or the like? Like I texted earlier, I think it's timing related/advance piston stuck etc.
