Good work Ellis. I'm not a carpenter, so that looks awesome to me! ;)

Just took it to the BIL's paint shop, let the rubbin begin

On the way over there I crowded it up a Hill and you could feel it draw back after about 2or3 seconds of full throttle. Something is definitely stopped up somewhere,it's not the fuel filter cause I screwed a new one on this morning......I'll Dick with it after I finish up those cabinets

Andy how's your duck ride? This little feller is smooth like butter with those heavy springs up front.

That holding back stuff sucks balls, that rig was feeling good till it choked. It was pulling hard then it just leveled off. Sickening :puker:

It rides nice I think. Its a bit bouncy sometimes due to the wore out front springs.

Yeah I've a little bounce to mine as well,I'm hoping the gas magnums I have ordered will kill that tho.

I backed my shifts up across the board. Under normal acceleration, I'd describe them as ok, not great though. Can't beat free.I could have turned the screw in further and still be within spec and I now wish I did

Line pressure screw is what I need to back off. When you do the TFod shift Kit in one of these the Kit tells you to leave the tab on tbe screw flush with the retaining bracket,2 turns in for mild power,4 turns for major HP increases. From what I am reading in my books and in this kits paperwork,I should back off that screw, and that will also lower the governor psi per mph,and this should get my switches working o/d and lockup working better.......I hope

IMO the cabinets need to be stained a little darker, then the doors would look ok. The dark doors on the light frame don't look good in this case.
No offense intended Ellis, you did a great job. I could never do anything like that. I'm lucky I can knock together a wall in the basement and get some plywood on it. ;)

Pete I felt the same way,but the dude and his wife thought it was great and that's what mattered...Hell I wanted to build raised panel doors but they didn't want to take the time...least I'm done with it,now I can get back on my own sith for awhile

It's been awhile since I've even seen my truck so last night I went by to check it out......slow goings apparently. I ain't happy about the speed but I can't beat the price.

That's the problem with those free or "work on it when you have the time" jobs. Slow progress to begin with, then none. I hope it doesn't turn out to be like that for you.

I'll never understand it :shaking: I just ain't that way. Like the cabinets,I'll work on it when I have time,I'll just make time and get it done....that way it ain't setting there piling up on me. We'll see I guess :/
