Well, so much for pulling up the head bolts. Got to number 22 in sequence, snap! What now?

My inner cheapness says pull the head, fish that busted bolt out, clean the block and head surface, slap a new head gasket and bolts on and go...buuuut, I really want a new head, studs, etc...

Damn, my inner cheapness said torque the ones around it extra-tight and run it until there's a problem.

Taco, I torqued all of them up to 125, except the one betweem cylinder 2 and 3, it kinda got tighter then kept turning, so I stopped. I'm sure I pulled the threads on that one...

I'd find bolts or studs and a gasket set....then get er done

Right on! Done! I guess the hard part will be getting that chunk of bolt out of the block...on the bright side, it's in an easy spot to get to

I'd bet you just stretched the bolt, unless the threads were boogered up previously I don't think there's any way you messed them up.

I'm hoping that is the case. I am on the hunt now for a M12x1.75 bottom tap...
